Mighty Mites Plus is a fun, team-based soccer experience for 4–5 year olds ready to build on the basics. Each group of 8–12 players is led by a licensed coach and follows a curriculum designed specifically for this age to develop confidence, coordination, and fundamental technical skills. Parents will join their children in 45-minute coach-led sessions that blend fun, movement, and skill-building in a safe and structured environmene, making it a shared experience every step of the way.
This monthly program blends structured training with small-sided gameplay to create an engaging and age-appropriate learning environment, following U.S. Soccer’s recommendations for early development. Sessions are 45 minutes, twice a week!

What age group is Mighty Mights Plus for?
The program is designed for players ages 6–7 (U6–U7) who have some soccer experience or show readiness for more structured training.
What’s the difference between Mighty Mights and Mighty Mights Plus?
Both programs focus on fun and fundamentals — the difference is in pace and structure.
Mighty Mights (ages 4–5) emphasizes play-based learning and basic coordination.
Mighty Mights Plus (ages 6–7) introduces team concepts, footwork drills, and short scrimmages to prepare players for the Sol Futures program.

When does the Mighty Mights Plus program start?
The program typically begins in early September for the Fall season and late February for the Spring season.
Families can join at any time during the season — new players are always welcome, and our coaches help each child get comfortable quickly.
How often are practices held, and where?
Mighty Mights Plus meets once or twice per week (depending on the season) at our main Sol SC fields in Clermont, FL.
Each session lasts about 60 minutes and includes skill development, fun games, and small-sided matches.
Who coaches the Mighty Mights Plus program?
All sessions are led by licensed Sol SC coaches trained in early youth development. Our staff follows a consistent Sol curriculum focused on player growth, confidence, and enjoyment.
Are there games or scrimmages in Mighty Mights Plus?
Yes! Players participate in small-sided scrimmages during training and occasional intra-club games to apply what they learn in a fun, game-like environment.
What should my child wear and bring?
Players should wear their Mighty Mights Plus uniform, shin guards, and cleats (or turf shoes).
Please bring a size 3 soccer ball, a labeled water bottle, and lots of energy!
How do I order the uniform?
Uniforms are available through our official Sol SC team store. After registering, you’ll receive an email with ordering instructions and links to purchase your kit.
What does the registration fee include?
The fee includes professional coaching, field use, scrimmage opportunities, and a Mighty Mights Plus jersey.

What happens if a session is canceled due to weather?
We follow the Sol SC Weather Policy, which prioritizes safety and communication.
