2025–2026 Sol SC Tryouts

Who should attend tryouts?

Any player interested in joining Sol SC for the 2026–2027 competitive season, including both new and current players.

What age groups are eligible?

Boys and girls ages U9–U19, based on birth year for the upcoming season.

Do current players need to attend?

Yes. All players must attend tryouts to be evaluated and placed on teams.

How do I register?

Click “Register Now” and complete the online registration form. A confirmation email will follow with full details.

Is there a cost?

Tryouts are free to attend.

What happens after tryouts?

Families will receive communication with team placement details and instructions for next steps within 48hrs.

What if I can’t attend in May?

Please register and indicate your conflict. Our staff will follow up with alternative evaluation options when possible.

How are players evaluated?

Players are evaluated based on technical ability, decision-making, effort, attitude, and overall game understanding.

Can players play up an age group?

In select cases, players may be placed in an older age group based on ability and readiness.

What is the time commitment?

Typically 2–4 training sessions per week plus weekend games. Competitive teams may also participate in tournaments.

What leagues do teams compete in?

Teams compete in local, regional, and national leagues depending on level, including GCF, EDP, FAL, FSPL, SCA and elite platforms such as MLS NEXT.

How will we receive results?

Results will be communicated via Playmetrics | email within a few days after tryouts conclude.
