On May 27, 2025, we opened a new chapter in our club’s story: starting with the 2025-26 season, Florida Rush Soccer will be Sol Sports Club (Sol SC). Change can bring questions: new name, new look—but what does it really mean? What’s changing? What’s staying the same? And most importantly—why now? Let’s walk through it.
Why the Rebrand?
This wasn’t an overnight decision. Over the past several years, through mergers, new locations, and countless hours of hard work, we’ve grown into one of Central Florida’s largest and most inclusive soccer communities.
While the Rush Soccer affiliation helped us scale, our real strength has always come from you—our local coaches, families, and players. As our reach and programming evolved, so did our need for a name and identity that reflect who we are today…and who we want to become.
Why “Sol”?
Sol means “sun” in Spanish. For a club rooted in the Sunshine State, it felt perfect. But more than climate, the sun symbolizes:
